For Miss Katy's bridal shower, we wanted to create a bright and colorful backyard garden party. We didn't want a typical bridal shower; we wanted to celebrate Katy and her vivacious personality with lawn games, fun drinks, and amazing food. We used an array of colors and different varieties of flowers to create a feminine feel while still keeping the vibe of the day down to earth. Everything was home-made. We hand cut the napkins from some fun silky fabric we found at a local craft store because, of course, no store bought napkins were just right. We hand-dipped the mini terracotta pots in gold and potted each flower for our place-cards finished with a touch of green moss. All the food was home-made, down to Mom's scrumptious lemon-blueberry scone recipe. We had a full mimosa and Bloody-Mary bar with all the fun fix-ins for a DIY bar. All the girls built their own fun concoction in mason jars. It was full of laughter and celebration with amazing friends for the soon to be Mrs. Eddy!
